At last someone has undertaken the task of writing a comprehensive history of the Elim Pentecostal Church in the UK, and there is no better person to do it than the movement’s official historian, Maldwyn Jones. In this informative book, Jones demonstrates a depth of personal knowledge on Elim, interacts with numerous primary sources and engages with existing historical works on Elim. He brings to life the denomination’s many pioneers who sacrificially served God and proclaimed the full gospel message in word and deed. Although the book is primarily written for members of Elim churches, it also has plenty of material that will be of value to scholars of Pentecostalism.
