Dave Smith

Dave Smith is the founder of the Manchester-based Boaz Trust charity, which accommodates and supports over 70 destitute asylum seekers and refugees.

He is the author of the Book of Boaz and Refugee Stories, and network development worker for NACCOM, the national ‘No Accommodation’ network, which he founded in 2006. NACCOM was one of three homeless charities chosen to be recipients of the Guardian Christmas appeal 2017.

He recently set up a new website in partnership with Jubilee Plus called R2C2 – the Refugee Resource Centre for Churches. His passion is to see the Church become God’s agent for social transformation in the UK.
