Lorraine Gibbard

Following a career teaching in Liverpool, Lorraine Gibbard moved with her husband to the Lake District in Cumbria, where she continued to work and help bring up three daughters.

In spite of a period of mental illness, her faith in Christ remained strong and she now works to see mental health issues become better understood and supported within the church. To help facilitate this, she has lead a mental health support group for twelve years and developed a carers’ group.

Lorraine is a prayer minister with and passionate to see people healed.
