Chic Lidstone

Chic is married to Isobel and has a son and daughter and five grandchildren.

Chic started his working career as a civil engineer working on heavy construction projects across Scotland, including a dam in the Scottish borders. During this time, Chic and Isobel moved around Scotland, serving in local congregations and being instrumental in planting a church.

Clearly being called out of this engineering, Chic began to work as a manager in a local authority grounds maintenance department. During this time he began to lead a church in Perth and was part of the organisation of Festival 99, a major outreach event. This was the catalyst for full time leadership in a local church.

After many years he became a work place chaplain working in industry and leading chaplains across Scotland. During this time, he studied psychological trauma and wrote training courses on wellbeing.

On retirement, he became the Sottish rep for a mission organisation. He has always been missionally focussed looking for ways to communicate the good news of the Kingdom in cultural relevant ways.
