Pamela Brown-Peterside

Pamela Brown-Peterside was born and raised in Jos, Nigeria. She went to university in the United States and eventually settled in New York City where she completed a Ph.D. in sociomedical sciences at Columbia University.

She went on to work in HIV research in the Bronx before joining medical missionaries who were starting an AIDS programme in western Uganda. Following her time there, Pamela worked at New York’s Redeemer Presbyterian Church and London City Mission in the UK.

Now based here, she continues to travel to Uganda and Nigeria.
